I am not sure which three points you mean, but here is an interesting way to determine the center of gravity. Usually we apply mathematics to solve problems in physics, but here it is the other way around. Do this: Make a small hole in the card board, near the edge, and tie a string to the card board. Next suspend the cardboard from the string. The center of gravity must lie on some point directly on the downward extension of the string- directly below the hole, in other words. Thus draw a line on the card board that is the extension of the string when the cardboard is freely suspended and at rest. (You could use another string with a small weight at the end to mark that line.) Next repeat by making another small hole at another place. You now have two lines, and their intersection is the location of the center of gravity.
