Nintendo seeks to rev up 3DS popularity with array of holiday games
Nintendo is readying an array of video games for the holidays in an aggressive attempt at catch-up for lost time from the sales delay of the 3DS portable machine last year. Phyllis M. Flister of North Versailles (tribunereview)
Phyllis M. Flister, 85, of North Versailles Township, died Thursday, Nov. 10,
2011, at Riverside Care Center in McKeesport. Born July 12, 1926, in
McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Philip D. and Anna Mae Fairbaugh
McGuire and she was also predeceased by three sisters. Phyllis worked in the
tin finishing and payroll department at the US Steel Irvin Works. She was a
member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport and was active in
many church groups and activities. She served as past president of the
Christian Women of St. Robert's and president of the church choir. She was a
member of the Worship Committee, the Ladies of Charity and a Eucharistic
Minister. She also belonged to the East McKeesport Century Flight Club and
various card clubs. She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Flister; sons,
William J. "Bill" (Stephanie) Flister, of West Mifflin, and Michael P. (Patti)
Flister, of North Huntingdon; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
