HP LaserJet 4000 Printer With HP C4127X Toner For Business

The HP LaserJet 4000 printer is ideal for a business that needs a monochrome laser printer. An easy to use printer with many features, it offers a power saver that you can program in just minutes and a long-lasting HP toner 27X. It's easy to set up and offers reliable speed and high resolution.

This printer has a fast start with just 12 seconds to begin a print job. It has a high print speed at 17 ppm. It comes set to a 600 x 600 dpi resolution with 220 levels of gray scale. This will deliver quality documents. For even finer resolution it can be changed to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. This will affect the number pages per minute printed. The toner is HP precision which allows for clean, clear printing. Its HP toner 27X prints 10,000 pages. The printer itself is capable of handling a large capacity of work. The printer has a 100 MHz processor. It is capable of network printing with two EIO slots to connect to the business network. It has an internal 4 MB memory. The memory is expandable up to 100 MB. Three DIMM (dual in line memory module) slots will hold 4, 8, 16 or 32 MB of RAM. With more memory print jobs will process more quickly, eliminating any back ups.

It works with Mac and Windows operating systems. There are two slots for flash memory. These will hold 2 MB and 4 MB. They can permanently load the printer. Their use is for signatures, fonts and forms. A 10/100 Ethernet port is available as well as serial and parallel ports.

It does not need much space for all it is capable of. It weighs just 39.27 pounds. It will fit on a desk top if necessary. The height is 13.3 inches, the width 15.4 inches and the length 16.77 inches. With either of the additional paper trays that the printer would sit on, the height would increase to 18 inches.

The HP LaserJet 4000 printer is just right for the small business that has a high print volume. At the price of about $275, it is a bargain for a printer with its features, resolution and speed and so is the HP 27A toner cartridge. I want to buy/build a computer (for decent gaming) and found a good deal on ebay. The only problem is its used and I'm not sure if I should buy or not. The guy told me it was used as a business computer for 3 years and claims its in good condition. He is selling it at $240. Here are the specs:
