2 years Green Card-->10 years Green Card?

I m a temp-Green Card holder,it will expr at end of this year?When should I apply for the 10 years Green Card?
Should I waiting the USCIS send me something? or Apply myself? thanks alot

You need to apply for removal of conditions within the 90 day period before the expiration of the green card by filing form I-751, you do this yourself. USCIS will not inform you. The cost is $465 (plus $80 biometric service fee). Please see links below for more info:
