What is this graphics Card (HD 2900 XT) comparable to?

I have ordered a Sapphire HD 2900 XT 512mb and was wondering, I am thinking that this card is about on performance levels with the 640mb 8800GTS that uses the old G80 cores, and is faster than the 8800 GT G80 core and the 320Mb GTS. I think that the GTX and, obviously the Ultra are far faster. Also, am I right in thinking that it is slower than the G92 8800GT and the G92 8800 GTS 512?

Thanks, I just want to know where it slots in performance wise against other cards, as the GPU charts at tom's hardware dont include my card.

Ah well, at least i know that it is an improvement over my current card (8600GT lol)

PS. Someone who has this card, does it come 4 pin molex to 6pin pci-express adapters? Because if it doesn't, i'll have to go out and get some o_0.

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

The HD2900XT512 is comparable to a 9600GT. It is a bit slower than an 8800GT -- faster than the original 8800GTS but slower than the new ones.

It sounds like you're exactly right about how this card will perform relative to the others.
