Dell P1500 Printer - The Only Printer Your Office Needs
Are you considering the Dell P1500 printer for a small home office or home-based business? If you are, the chances of you being impressed with its ease of use and maximum printing capacities are good. Being designed mainly for home office use, it's a noteworthy entry into the under-300 dollar laser printer market segment. In general, most home offices would be well served by the Dell P1500 and the Dell P1500 Toner Cartridge, which complements the printer unit.
Features. The Dell P1500 offers a decent array of security features not normally found in very many personal-type printers. It also has the latest USB ports for ease of interface, and even older-style parallel ports, which can come in handy on some occasions.
How Much Will it Print? At 15,000 pages of copy a month, the Dell P1500's duty cycle is pretty large for a home office printer that can double as a home business unit. It's also pretty much worry-free because of these print capabilities.
Things to Remember. You should consider what your budget is for printing, or what you need a printer to do for you. If you require a lot of printing, the P1500 is perhaps not the best machine for you.
Printer Cartridges. The Dell Printer P1500 toner cartridge is very straightforward, and changing it just as straight ahead in difficulty, which is to say it's not hard at all. After 2 or 3 simple stems, you're back in the printing business.
Durability. Demanding printer customers look at how easy a printer is to use, and the Dell P1500 passes the test with flying colors. Also, many customers look at how much use a printer can take without breaking down, and it's here where the Dell will come through. When it comes to print jobs, laser printers are a huge improvement over inkjet models, so there's an added longevity benefit to also factor in.
Size and Weight. Coming in at about 20 pounds in weight in a 14 by 15 by 9 inch high size, the Dell P1500 presents itself in a logical package which can fit well on any desk or against any wall in most home offices. Its paper tray holds about 150 pages, with optional capacity bring that up to 250 pages.
How Much Memory. The DellP1500 ships with 16MB of memory for starters. If you need more, you can add it all the way up to 64MB, which probably will be enough for the average home office print job.
Warranty. The standard Dell 1-year warranty, with 24/7 online technical support, is offered.
Summary. All in all, the Dell P1500 and the line of Dell P1500 Toner seem well-positioned for success in a competitive printer marketplace. It's capable of putting out over 15 pages per minute of black-and-white copy, and it has a very-generous 6,000 page laser toner cartridge available (the starter cartridge will make about 3,000 copies). Also, the P1500 seems to be a durable, long-lasting laser printer that won't take up too much space in a possibly-tight home office or desktop. Plus, it comes in under 300 dollars in most instances, making it a cost-effective player in the personal laser printer market. For more information, check out our site http://www.qtoner.us.
