So I just got the rom. Problem is; I don't see an options menu. I want to turn off battle scenes as they drive me CRAZY but I can't figure out how. Anyone know?

this means that your ROM isnt patched properly so i suggest you delete it and download another one. but before that, you should "save game as " so that once you download the new ROM, you can still continue with your current game
